1951 Chevrolet Switzerland Owners Manual

About This Manual

thumb

General Motors began production of vehicles in Biel Switzerland, with a Buick rolling off the assembly line on February 5, 1936. The plant would build a total of 26,858 Chevrolets between 1936 and 1968, to be sold in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The iconic Bowtie logo was replaced for these Chevrolets by the three-pronged logo, like the one on the cover of this 1951 Chevrolet owners manual, printed in German. The peaks represent the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau peaks, and bear the words Montage Suisse. All of the digital collections on AutomotiveTimelines have been scanned from our original vintage literature collection, and this one is in excellent, original condition.
