Directed by now legend Frank Capra, this early Capra film is about a meek Belgian soldier, played by Harry Langdon, fighting in World War I. The soldier receives pen pal letters and a photo from "Mary Brown", an American girl he has never met. He becomes infatuated with her by long distance, and after the war, the young Belgian moves to America to find his love. He finds employment with a circus, and although it was not the star of the movie, there is a 1920 Chevrolet 1-ton truck that the "The Strong Man" employs. filmed in 1926.
